Alcubierre Vessel IXS Aquarius

After a couple of modelling "successes" I was thoroughly taken by the possibilities, and sought to stretch myself for my first speculative vehicle - some people choose cars, I chose space. Enter a piece inspired by the work of NASA's Harold G. White, and the hypothetical vessel IXS Enterprise, driven by the Alcubierre drive, itself named after the mathematical work of Miguel Alcubierre.

I had a broad idea of what I wanted and crafted something with a blend of feel and memory, to create what I imagined to be either a second generation Alcubierre vessel or sister ship to the Enterprise, the IXS Aquarius. It went through a couple of basic physical tweaks, eventually replacing its forward dish in favour of a reconstruction, using the learned principle of creating a sphere from a cube for tidier topology (!?).. Really.
